Due to strange segfaults, I upgraded bagend successfully to NetBSD 1.6.2. I'm currently rebuilding everything, which will take at least a week.
I've added a News blog, and also created accounts for everyone in the content and pedagogical groups.
I've enabled full HTT support on quarkprime, in preparation for enabling it on quark. Previously, the logical processor only handled hardware interrupts, but now it can handle processes as well. This should improve performance marginally.
I imaged acl8 with RH9. If it's beeping when you come in in the morning, give it the ol' power cycle.
I've gotten quarkprime to mount /clients from quark over the gigabit interface.
It turned out to be a problem with the firewall rules. I had to add allow statements on both quark and quarkprime for the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet because the NFS transfers go over UDP, which is a stateless protocol.
At Hassan's request, I bumped up the minimum threshold score for spam from 5 to 8 in sa-mimedefang.cf.
I've been working on getting root over NFS and PXE booting working on eni0. Don't reimage it if you can help it.
It looks like gcc was never installed on proto. This probably would be useful at some point.
eni0's hard drive was making clacking noises and refusing to spin up, so I replaced it and imaged the machine. Damn Fireballs.
