Getting Started
The University of Washington maintains a site called UWired which is rich in information. If you are just starting out on this adventure you should read About UWired section which details many important aspects of technology, teaching, and learning.
In addition to information about how UW is using technology in teaching and learning there is a good index of other sources of information on this topic.
The American Association of Higher Education maintains a Teaching, Learning, & Technology Roundtable. This is more aimed at institutions than individual faculty but it does contain pertinent information.
James J. O'Donnell teaches classics at the University of Pennsylvania and maintains a page called New Tools for Teaching. In it he both describes his experiences integrating technology into the teaching of classics and maintains a good set of links to on-line resources.
College, University, and other Libraries
The Oberlin Group This page is maintained at Carleton and is a list of libraries called the Oberlin Group. It includes some sixty-five college libraries from across the U.S.; from Reed and Willamette to Eckerd and Rollins, and from Bates and Colby to Pomona and Whittier. Almost all of the GLCA and ACM schools are included. It's a good place to start in terms of seeing what our peers provide in terms of an Internet presence for their libraries.
University of Wisconsin-Madison Electronic Library Contains MadCat, Readers Guide Abstracts, Business Periodicals Index, Social Science Index, Biological and Agricultural Index, and others.
Educational and Instructional Technology
webdog's Ed Tech A nice set of on-line references to technologies used for learning and instruction. The focus is on the technology more than the teaching and learning. Contains a good collection of links to graduate programs and courses in the use of technology in higher education. webdog works at San Francisco State's Department of Instructional Technologies.

CARL On-Line, the CARL databases on the WWW. Includes the UnCover document delivery service.
Argus Clearinghouse. These folks review and rate educational material and indexes available on the WWW. They have a good reputation for separating good from bad and provide a well organized presentation.
Selected Courses and Syllabi Tony Chan at Antioch maintains this index of courses and syllabi. At the bottom of the page he has a good index of sites that contain information about teaching and technology.

Magazines and Journals
SyllabusWeb, brought to you by the publishers of Syllabus magazine.
HotWired, Wired magazines e-zine. This site doesn't always contain information germain to teaching and technology but it's a very good source of general information about the Internet, usage trends, and cutting-edge technology. One of the people that participated in the original design and development of this site is an Earlham alum.
enews, a well done reference for magazines and journals with an on-line presence. Good searching facility and indexes by subject and title.
Computer Mediated Communication Magazine Contains back-issues and a good set of links to on-line resources.
Books
Books on the Internet is a well organized index to sites which have books and journals available on the Internet. It's maintained by the University of Texas at Austin library.
