I've got version 1.0.1 of the item-creator up now. It lets you add more than one item at a time (like add 5 living tools in one chunk instead of navigating all the way through to it 5 times). To update your version of the editor, just delete the old version, re-download, and put the new version in. To keep under the line limit, I've had to take out healing pods, healing spores, shaper records, and shaper equipment, but who needs normal healing items when you've got major healing and restoration items?.
Use this at your own risk. This editor is NOT officially sanctioned or supported by Spiderweb Software. If you are using this, DO NOT ask Spidweb for tech support. They will not support any game which has been modified using these methods. BACK UP YOUR GAME FIRST!
To install it: move the files abanvaledlg.txt and banditwoodsdlg.txt in the scripts folder of the data folder to somewhere else. Then download my modified versions: abanvaledlg.txt and banditwoodsdlg.txt (you'll need to option-click on the links if you're on a Mac, and right-click and save as if you're running Windows.). Now put the new ones into the scripts folder, and you're done. The editor is in two areas, an obelisk outside the Quarantine hall in the Abandoned Vale (the second area) for changing your skills, spells, known creations, money, and experience; and the obelisks outside the Ruined School in the Bandit Woods for adding items.
To uninstall it: delete the new versions of the scripts and move the old ones back. Now it's gone.
