The basis for the grade:
	25 points--daily homework (that gives a week and a half's
		worth of cuts to handle illness, out of town events,
		family emergencies, ...; hoard them!)

	50 points--hour exams on September 30 and November 11
	25 points--the final exam at 10:30 on Tuesday, December 17
