A look at other video game systems
There are several video game systems that are comparable to the Nintendo 64. While none of the
other video game systems have as much power as the Nintendo 64, they are nevertheless
powerful systems. It is also interesting to note that as video game systems become more
powerful, they come closer to matching the power of a personal computer. It is possible that in
the future there will be a convergence of video game systems and personal computers.
The video game systems I compare here are
Sony PlayStation

informative. It include technical specifications. Notice that the PlayStation also uses a MIPS
microprocessor.
