Wayne County's Internet Connections

This website is composed of a series of diagrams and
texts that explain the logical structure of Wayne County's Internet connection.
The primary focus is on the 3 biggest distribution points in Wayne County,
Infocom, Richmond Power & Light (RP&L) and Earlham College.
Some of the diagrams document the WAN connections coming into and going
from each distribution point and the active components used for connections.
Other diagrams document Earlham College's LAN and active and passive components
useded.
This website is a work in progress. As of
2/18/99, only the physical media used for WAN and LAN connections and some
of the active components are documented. The next phase wil be adding
more detail about the active components used. This website will continue
to be worked on until May, 1999.
