Loch Ness

Loch Ness stretches 23 miles and is great enough to immerse every human being on earth three times over. The world famous loch has aquired its popularity from the monster photograph in 1934 of a dinosaur-like long neck emerging from the water. There's a tale of St. Columba meeting Nessi (the Loch Ness Monster) in the 6th century. In recent years there have been sonar hunts, underwater cameras, and computer studies to find Nessie. Most pictures that we have seen today have unfortunately been hoaxes of people trying to earn a little fame. This does not mean that Nessie does not exist.
