Skye is a rugged island off the west coast of Scotland stretching about 50 miles. The main roads follow along the coastline and provide beautiful scenery. The Cullin Hills often attract youth backpackers. The population of the island is only 8847 but there are also a lot of sheep walking around the isle. Gaelic is spoken by half of Skye's residence. Our trip took us in a counter-clockwise loop around the island.
