AWPE Intro to Canoeing List of Appropriate Gear

  I. Clothing...all clothing is preferably synthetic, though on this trip some cotton is okay.
     A. Tops
       -t shirt, a short sleeved and a long sleeved
       -a warm fleece
       -rain jacket
       -tank top if you prefer
       -swimsuit top
     B. Bottoms
       -rain pants
       -long pants, preferably synthetic, such as wind suit pants
       -long underwear and regular underwear
       -shorts
       -swimsuit trunks or bottom
     C. Extras
       -wool socks
       -boots/closed toed shoes
       -bandana
       -warm hat
  II. Toys
     A. Tools
       -bowl and spoon(necessary)
       -headlamp
       -pocket knife(if you want)
     B. Personal(if you want)
       -journal
       -pen
     C. For sleeping
       -sleeping pad
       -sleeping bag == ==
