File Formats

The files on this site are available in a variety of formats.

  • Formatted Braille ready to be opened by the Duxbury Braille Translator and sent to an embosser.
  • PDF format, the best choice if you want to read the print document.
  • LaTeX source, prepared by Mackichan's Scientific Notebook and Scientific Workplace software, and incorporating figures made in Scientific Notebook and in Maple.
  • You'll need this if you want to modify the print document.
  • LaTeX without figures. This is the LaTeX source with the figures removed and a few small changes made to make the Braille translator happy. It's the source for the Braille version. I doubt you want this, but it's there for completeness.
  • Maple Worksheets. A few Maple worksheets are also included, mostly associated with Labs. You'll need a Maple license to be able to open these.
