I am currently a sophomore at Earlham College studying computer science. Some of my interests are *nix and open source (Linux and NetBSD in particular), wireless networking, portable computing, and system administration.

"News"

5.1.05 9:11 PM - I updated the computers page with info on Athena, my new junker computer.

4.26.05 12:41 AM - I've updated the computers page a bit, with some more info about Poseidon, and fixed some typos and stuff. I did a lot of tidying up of the HTML code.

1.28.05 8:17 PM - I actually added some new content! I added one of my papers from my US History class from last semester to the documents page. Go check it out if you're bored.

1.28.05 7 38 PM - I added links to the homepages of some of my courses on the classes page.

1.14.05 8:22 PM - I updated the classes page again with new information about the sysadmin meeting.

12.23.04 11:36 PM - I updated the classes page with my spring 2005 schedule.

8.31.04 12:42 PM - I updated the classes page with my fall schedule

6.10.04 3:43 PM - I updated the computers page with info about Demeter, which is my Sun box.

5.3.04 1:04 PM - I added my final project for CS256 to the downloads page. It requires the Carnegie Mellon Graphics libraries, which can be a pain to compile, so you might not get my program to compile. Nevertheless, you can still look at the source code. I also updated my DMCA paper after getting it back from Jim with his modifications.

4.28.04 7:41 PM - The computer table has been updated with new info about Aphrodite and my Sun box, which is still unnamed.

3.9.04 12:28 AM - I'm using mutt as my mail client now, and I've added my .muttrc to the documents page.

1.28.04 11:27 PM - I'm getting a Velo!!! I'm going to buy Joe's Velo from him for $20. I am so happy :). I've always admired it, even to this day. I have so many good memories of the little thing from 8th grade. Playing Zork underneath the stairs in St. Charles during our bake sales. The only thing I'm uncertain about is how I'm gonna get the money to him. I might come home this weekend just to get it from him :).

1.12.04 4:50 PM - My Christmas break is over. Nothing really special except I bought a 160 GB hard drive, an IDE controller card for it, and a nice 17" LCD!! I updated the computers page with the new stuff.

12.7.03 11:54 PM - I added a documents page that has some of the stuff I've worked on here at Earlham. Right now the only thing up is a project I did for my programming class.

10.14.03 1:49 AM - I added a new page about some of my books. So far it just liste the computer books that are in my dorm room.
